PE court claim defence

Hi All,
I did post a few days ago but now can't find my thread!
I have until Friday to submit my defence against a overstay (30 min by there cameras) less by my reconing.
Both me & my dad have trawled for hours online, pranksters book etc but are coming to a stop with how to word the defence and also what is relevant for that stage or what is for te next stage when I apply to my local court for popla (which I think we have a decent letter draft done)
Any help in how to word the defence would be greatly appreciated as I don't want to mess the whole thing up & look a fool!
If it helps the car park was Atlantic Hotel Newquay ticket was purchased just late to leave.
Any advice massively appreciated!!!
