Letter from Bank of Scotland and my Club Lloyds account

Sorry if this is buried in the other threads.
I received a letter today, dated 6 May 2014, from BoS thanking me for converting my vantage account to a Club Lloyds account. I called BoS and they have no idea what's going on.
I did convert my Lloyds vantage to Club at the start of April and I assume there has been some sort of mistake amongst the banking group.
Anybody else had one of these?

It's the same group so they probably use the same printers for all their letters. Most likely somebody loaded the machine with Bank of Scotland paper instead of Lloyds paper.0

Not sure that is the case as the letter was accompanied by a BoS leaflet on the vantage account.
But, thinking about it some more, I added Plus to my BoS Vantage account at the start of May. They probably sent out the wrong standard letter.0 -
Sounds you have been caught up in a re-shuffle of account names and T&Cs inside Lloyds banking group, and several misunderstandings on the way.
The old LloydsTSB used to have an account option called Plus.
TSB split off and recently launched their own Plus account, which bears little resemblance to the one LloydsTSB had.
At around the same time, Lloyds launched their Club Lloyds account, and also announced that their Plus account no longer existed. Further, they announced significant changes to their Vantage accounts.
None of this should in any way have affected your BoS account. But since BoS are part of the Lloyds banking group, they probably didn't
know what to do with your application to "add Plus to Vantage".
What were you hoping to achieve with your application? What account(s) do you have now? You need to really get to the bottom of this since if you do have a Club Lloyds now! it will cost you £5/month unless you pay in £1,500 a month, and you would probably have a new account number and sort code, new debit card etc.
Also, be you have 2 Club Lloyds accounts now?0 -

I already have all the Lloyds, TSB and BoS current a/c I can. As said above, appears to be a glitch in their system.0 -
My mum also received this letter today. She opened some accounts last month, and this letter is dated May 6th. She has accounts at both Bank of Scotland and Lloyds, but while the letter refers to her new Club Lloyds account, the letter is on Bank of Scotland paper and it tells her to go to bankofscotland.co.uk/Classic for more information about her account and it also has the name of her branch at the top which is a Bank of Scotland branch, along with the sort code for the branch.
