I have included some of the expenses for my step child as my partner (her mum) does receive some benefits, child benefit and tax credits but that is all.
I know exactly what you mean about being dependant on me and my partner but have not included her income into my SOA and even though we share some bills, i pay the considerable amount of most of them.BR - 27/05/2014 - Divorced Father of 2 Amazing Children, Step Father to Another 2 Amazing Children and Fiancee to an Amazing Lady

Hi MyKidsrcool.
Although it is only you who is declaring Bankruptcy, I'm afraid you will have to include your Partners income when it comes to your SOA as the OR will expect your Partner to contribute a percentage (thought this may not be much) towards some of the Monthly costs. Sorry.
Try using the SOA calculator at www.stoozing.com as I believe this has a better breakdown for monthly costing when doing a SOA.
Get it back on here including your Partners contribution & we'll have another look.0 -
Noodles, my partner pays for half of some of the bills with what little money she has and also pays for a percentage of the shopping for herself and the step children. On my SOA i have only put down half of gas / elec/ water as she pays the other half. I have also not included any of her expenses like her mobile, haircuts etc.BR - 27/05/2014 - Divorced Father of 2 Amazing Children, Step Father to Another 2 Amazing Children and Fiancee to an Amazing Lady

Your Partners income still needs to be noted as its another income coming into the household. You can explain to the OR when you have your Interview what your Partners contributions to the household are & why. Though your Partners income maybe only small, it still needs to be noted as the OR will expect her to contribute (something) towards the bills. Therefore you need to put the full amount of the Bills in your SOA & not just your contributions.0 -

Please keep in mind that any benefits that have your name on, such as tax credits need to be declared and accountable in your SOA.0 -
