Disappointing cherry crop

Now the flowers have fallen and (some) have set it's obvious the crop is disappointing compared with last year. Last year's crop was very good, it was the tree's first crop (year before that was it's first year in the ground). Probably don't have even half as many cherries forming as last year. Otherwise the tree looks healthy.

Any ideas? Poor weather at pollinating time or something done wrong?

Probably poor weather at the time. Mine was poor last year, but awful cold, wet & windy weather for bees at the time

In contrast this year is great, and was nice & warm while the blossom was out

We have had a cherry, Apple, plum and pear tree for 4years now and never had a single piece of fruit from any of them. :/

Can't remember what the weather was like when the flowers were out this year. Maybe it was cold and wet. I know there are cherry varieties that flower and ripen at different times, this one is Sweetheart.

Ah, I see Sunburst flowers after Sweetheart, so maybe it missed the bad weather with you.
