Already requested refunds from all 5 companies, 4 by letter and one of their website (as it should be according to their site).

One thing I was wondering, in case I have problems with the 3 companies that should refund me that are in the same building in Birmingham, should I visit said building since I'm close to Birmingham? Would that help?

You file a complaint with the Fos (just google it).

It's deemed delivery, and will hold enough weight in court (as I've proven on behalf of others several times.)

If sent recorded, it's more easy for the company to reject, too.

Thanks for that, I didn't know that. I would have thought the onus would be on to prove receipt of the mail rather than prove postage.

Pretty much can guarantee that no people will work there it is more than likely just a registered address to receive paper work through to and as a registered UK address for the Company.

Also what would you do if you got there and people were there from the Company - Not much as legally they can turn you away and say deal with via the correct complaints procedure so this will prove fruitless I'm afraid.

The 3 companies in the same building probably aren't. The address is likely to be just an mail drop

I just got debited another amount of £54.99 from another company I never actually heard about, registered with or applied for.

The amount of one off fees is over £350 now and I'm concerned it won't stop here.

Should I contact the bank to cancel all future transactions?!

Your details may have been passed on to the latest batch.

Id move your money to a new bank account and any direct debits, not sure if telling the bank to cancel all future transactions will do anything.

And stop looking for loans from brokers, if you have money problems contact 1 of the debt charities.

Hey hopefully one of them will get you a loan that you can then use to pay all your fees

    WARNING TO ALL READERS:
If a loan firm need your card details to issue a quote, close the web site down and go and sit in a dark corner where you can think about saving up for whatever it is you want.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES ENTER YOUR CARD NUMBER!

Cancelling the card will achieve nothing if the transactions are already authorised, other than leaving the OP without a card for a few days.

Well that's one solution to debt in the short term.
