Thanks for taking the time to read.
I have recently had problems in a shower cubicle with leaks. It caused black mold, so I want to sort it properly this time.
The shower cubicle is 900mm x 900mm on the 2 walls, and covered in pvc cladding panels.
Now, I want to rip out the plasterboard, and replace the pvc cladding, but the problem I have, and even after loads of reading up, I am more confused...is, what do I put behind the cladding instead of plasterboard?
Do I use aquaboard, widiboard, or any other of the 5-10 products I have read up about??
Any help wold be really appreciated.

aquapanel, backer board, hardi board, any of the waterproof panels will do, or plasterboard that you put a tanking solution overI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
Plasterboard and homelux tanking . CTD also do a wedi type board that's cheap as chipsHi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure0

Cheers for the replies.
I had a look at CDT online, but can only see the branded wedi boards. I will have to try to get into a store and have a look.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”
