bought a suite in feb 2008 from freemans catalogue complained after about eight months about the cushioning they sent out a chap to get a report on the suite , who informed me there was something wrong but when reporting back to Freemans told them there was nothing wrong. Freemans informed me if i wasnt happy i could get independent report done this twice saying it was a manufactures fault. Freemans didn't accept this and refused to pick up or replace suite, after many a year of different debt collectors and arguing with Freemans the C.A advised trying the furniture ombudsman phoned them and they said because it is now over 6 years they can be of no help .... WHAT CAN I DO NEXT... ps i live in scotland

You've almost certainly left it too long, law of limitations in scotland (and thus also sales of goods act) limits you to 5 years for claims. Courts do have the power in exceptional circumstances to waive the limitation but it is unlikely that they would consider this to be anywhere near exceptional enough to do so0
