I think the point is this in your case. I would not have anyone's extractor blowing out across my property, probably you wouldn't either. As most have said, find another route that ios moire neighbour friendly before you start a war.;);)

Normally I would agree with you, except the existing kitchen extractor is already there (although it's simply a fan messily installed within a window), and also the air would simply be discharged into a rarely used side passageway. If it was my property I honestly wouldn't mind two hoots.

Until he/you wanted to extend parallel if you get my drift.

    Anyway, just playing devils advocate;);)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

    Hi there,

Ive just come across this post and noticed that you seem to of had the same problem in going through only against my wall is a bathroom shop's yard! The owner wont let me put the grates on to finish the job. I know your post was a year ago but I was just wondering how you got on with your issue and if it was resolved. As far as my council are concerned we are not doing anything illegal but I need proof from them to show this guy or he wont let me in.

    I hope you can help?

    Thanks

I don't know if this is of any use at all to you, but I live in an older terraced property, and the ducting for the kitchen has been installed on top of the cupboards, and exits through the back wall, quite high up.

It was a breeze to install when I had the kitchen re done a few years ago. The outlet has flexible covers like venetian blinds, so they are closed until the cooker fan goes on, and then they flap!

It is worth considering, as if it were me, I would do everything within my power to ensure no ongoing issues with the neighbours you describe!
