PCN Newbie help!

Hi All,
I recently received a 'PCN' from MET Parking in my work car park. Let me explain the situation:
I had just bought a new car and in the process of transferring the parking permit from the old vehicle it ripped, so on my way in that day I requested a new parking permit in which I was told it would take up to 4 hours, within the space of that 4 hour window I received the PCN. The permit was back in the window before I left the car park the same day. You can understand my frustration as this is my place of work!
After reading through numerous threads which explained to ignore the relentless letters I have received. MET, ROXBURGH, Graham white, etc.
The latest letter is from Gladstone solicitors. Now this has got me a bit worried. Before reading the forums I actually appealed to MET who of course rejected my appeal (I admitted I was driving the vehicle). What are the chances of this going to court?
ANY advice would be very much appreciated!
Thanks!?!

if you appealed and failed , you should have been given a popla code by MET
you also need to read one thread , the NEWBIES READ THIS FIRST thread at the top of this forum0 -
Hi Redx
Firstly, thanks for the response. I did receive a POPLA appeal letter (with a verification code and rejection code).
I chose to ignore these, but having read the first thread that you mentioned. I'm now beginning to realise I have made a mistake.
Is there anything I can do from here on or do I just bite the bullet?
Thanks!0 -
if the popla code has expired , you lost your golden chance , otherwise its deal with it by trying to get the landowner to cancel , or ride out the debt collector storm of paperwork, possibly small claims too in the future
ignoring it and not using the popla appeal code was an extremely bad decision0 -

Don't be daft! How about searching the forum for Gladstones as a keyword, you'd have found this:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/64750464#Comment_64750464PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Coupon-Mad,
As you suggested, the letter template says POPLA gives no time limit for a response so I have given this a go. I really do not want to be paying £120 for going to work!!
Failing the above I will speak to the Land owners!
Much appreciated.0
