Halifax ppi

I ve just had a letter from the halifax telling me I had ppi on a loan with them and I may be entitled to compensation, I not sure I can answer some of the questions its asking me I.e why I took the loan out and did I have any savings when I took the loan out, I cant remember why I took it out or whether I had savings will this affect my claim?

Probably, you do need valid reasons why you believe the policy was mis-sold.
If there's anything you don't know/ can't remember just say that. Don't make anything up, you could get caught out.0 -
Have to agree, just tell the truth, if you cant remember, just say so.
If you are entitled to something, then yu will get it. If they find you ended up lying to them, then yu will get absolutely nothing.
My daughters claim form was 80% 'cant remember' and she was sent a cheque for nearly £800.
