Weetabix Shares

Can anyone help? In May 1999 I sold 278 Weetabix A shares at a price of £33.75 each.

Can anyone tell me what these would be worth now? I believe Weetabix was bought out by a US company but can't find any details. Would like to know if I made the right decision :o .

Thanks.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

I think you could have eventually sold them for more when they were picked up by a private equity fund a few years back.

The private equity investors have made money on it since, but you wouldn't have been able to keep the shares and enjoy the last few years growth yourself as an individual (of course, if you are in a pension fund that invests some of its portfolio in the Fund then maybe you have been making money off it without knowing...)
