I am trying to transfer funds from my UK bank account to my Australian trading account.
I normally do this online via a local transfer using Global collect but my Broker is having problems with them so that service is unavailable.
I am trying to do a wire transfer but when I put in the SWIFT code into my bank transfer form the wrong bank names comes up and I am unable to edit it.
This is the code, I checked with the broker and it is correct, I googled it and it is correct.
NATAAU3303M National Australia Bank
But online with my bank this comes up "YESILADA BANK LTD".
I am out of the country so unable to go into my local branch and they do not seem to have live chat.
Anyone know if Halifax have online chat?

I wonder if Yesilada Bank Ltd is part of National Australia Bank? (Like until recently TSB was part of Lloyds).
I totally agree you shouldn't transfer any funds until you're sure it's going to the right place. I wonder if it might help to google either National Australia Bank (to see if they have links with Yesilada), or google Yesilada to see if they are legit/where their branches are (if it tallies with the address you have for NAB, for example). Last resort - you could call Yesilada and check that everything is OK that way.No longer a spouse, or trailing, but MSE won't allow me to change my username...0 -
Yesilada is a Cypriot bank that doesn't appear to have any connection with NAB. I wouldn't send it if I were you
Halifax don't have live chat I've just checked- sorry. Hope you get it sorted.

Thanks for the replies.
Yesilada Bank Ltd is not part of National Australia Bank, I checked with my Broker.
It was an error on the Halifax website.
It was not allowing any international transfers so I logged out for a while, logged back in and when inserting the SWIFT code the correct bank name came up.
I set up a transfer, they automatically telephoned me and I confirmed it with a code.
I went to make the transfer and got this message
"There's a problem...
