Took the car (2003 Almera) to Nissan service last Friday as I've been driving round for months without a radio as cannot find code and not traceable online.

Since I bought the car in Feb 2013 the gear stick has had a nasty rattle and wouldn't centre when in Neutral, it just flopped about, it also made a noise when driving. There was also a very annoying squeak on the break pedal.

Nissan charged £25 to re-code the radio and provide the code, but to my surprise they also sorted out the gear stick issues, it no longer rattles and it returns to the centre when in neutral, also they have sorted the annoying squeal on the brake pedal, both extra's done for free, neither mentioned on the invoice, and not told about when I collected car.

It's all in all I'm well happy. I was considering changing the car but I don't think I'll bother now.
