    yes, you can use greaseproof paper, but you have to faff about 'greasing' it! (no, I don't understand that either!) I buy baking paper from Aldi or the poundshop. you don't have to grease it! its worth the extra expense as it helps stop the sides and bottom of the cake from burning before the middle is done. and that is why I use two layers in cheap cake tins.

    and sometimes the poundshop has cake tin 'liners' and they actually fit my tins! oh the bliss of just popping a liner in! (I must get out more).

    Tin opener, baking tray, a wok, I have a large wok and a dinky wok, woks are fantastic. I also have a veg steamer, a food processor that my mum bought me, some kitchen scales that she gave me, I also have a fancy potato masher as well as the usual bits and bobs

    Some tin openers have a bottle opener attachment as well, a corkscrew as well if you ever cook with alcohol and dont buy screw top wine.
