storecard history

Hi all,
I am new to the forum and just need a bit of information on how I find out who my store card and credit card lenders were back in 2000 up to 2006.
I have looked at my credit and the history doesn't go back as far as I need it to, I just wondered if there was a way of finding out the information required?
I had the store cards with House of fraser, Debanhams, topshop, usc and many more but I have no paper work or information on them since I moved house in 2006.
I am looking to claim the ppi back on these if possible, any help would be great
Many thanks

Unless you remember, there is no other way to check.
To find out if any info is left, you would need to send s SAR and £10 to each company [or Santander if they currently ow them] to find out account numbers.
None of the store cards would have been regulated rior to 2005, so once you find out the account numbers, if you can, you complain probably to Santander who have bought most of them now, then wait ot b rejected, then you complain to the insurer. This is no a guarantee of success though, it only works if the seller was acting as an agent of he insurer [usually GE/Genworth]Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
