I own an Acer A210 tablet, had it for just over a year, get lots of use from it, and love it to bits. I'm not into games at all, surf with it, online shopping, read digital editions of the papers, kindle books, zinio magazines (free thru my library yay!!), iplayer radio, audio books - thats about it.
As I say I love it, but it does seem to get a bit slow sometimes - I'm thinking of doing a factory reset perhaps but ...
I've seen an offer for a refurb Acer A3-A10 at a decent price. I've pulled up the spec for it, and apart from the fact that the A3 has a camera on the back (the A210 doesn't), more on board storage, HDMI output and Dolby sound!!, I can see it has more screen colours and a different processor (both quad core tho')
I don't know if the different screen and processor would make an appreciable difference to my experience in use. If not, i might as well save the money. If it is likely to make a difference then I'll buy the A3 and sell my A210 (I might get about £40 for it.
The compared specs are here - I'm looking at the A3 which DOES NOT have G2/G3, just the WiFi version.
If anyone who knows the inner technicalities of these things could give me some pointers, I'd be really grateful.
Thanks in anticipation

I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.

Assuming you don't have a 'Task Killer' running, which can slow some tablets down, then, the factory reset should cure it.

to be honest with what you are going to use it for you won't notice any appreciable difference. A nicer screen is always nice but you will only notice this if you play games watch HD movies. Save your money until your current one breaks or you feel it's really time for an upgrade.11K Challenge

The A3 would actually be slower than your existing tablet, although both are quad cores the Cortex A7's in the A3 are slower (although more power efficient) than the Cortex A9's in the A210.
