Zafira B locking problem
Hi,
I have a Zafira B 55 reg 1.6 Club.
The keyfob stopped working today so I had to unlock manually. I figured battery must be dead. It was working last night.
But it must be more than a dead key fob surely? Opening the drivers door manually doesn't open all doors, I can't open the passenger front or driver's side rear doors at all. Not even from inside. The petrol cap is locked too.
So I can only open 2 of the doors. The lock button inside the car does nothing. The air con doesn't work. The radio and everything seems fine though.
Obviously not safe to cart the kids about with only 2 doors able to be opened. And now I can't even put any petrol in
Any ideas? Should I take it to a normal garage or an auto electrics place? I've looked online but it made my head spin and didn't really tell me anything, other than it might cost anywhere between £7 - £1000, whatever the problem is.

Step one check all the fuses. If one door other than the drivers locks and unlocks it does sound like the central locking module at fault.
The filler flap on most cars can be accessed from the inside to manually unlock it, You should find info on how to do it in your handbeek.0 -
A quick search found this.
Open tailgate, pull back trim/look in cubbyhole space on fuel filler side of the car. Locate motor and manually activate lock plunger0 -
Thanks for the advice but we couldn't get at the petrol cap from inside, mostly because the boot won't open at all. It's in the garage now, apparently reading a fault with the rear electrical centre. Sounds like £££££'s to meInternet earnings:
