Chest freezer under counter/on wheels

We have a 'roving' chest freezer in work, for emergency use when one of our lab freezers goes kaput.
It is sat in a metal frame with castors, a bit like you describe. It copes well with being rolled about , in and out of lifts etc.
Have you checked the height of wheels plus height of freezer will fit under your worktop?0 -
Rather than looking for 'appliance rollers', get a piece of thick plywood, cut to size to match freezer size, get casters from DIY store, ideally eight, ten, twelve or so, in a style that won't damage the floor - rubber or nylon-faced, etc.0

The worktop could go any height really, as it's just an alcove that would purely be used for the chest freezer with the combi microwave on top. It would probably fit at standard height, but no issue going up a few cm if needed.
Good idea for a HM system googler. The one thing I did like about the rollers is that they only went back and forth..no need to worry about me rolling it around the place and bashing it into things. But could be a bit more floor friendly with castors (they were my original plan before I doscvered the rollers)0
