A google search shows oscillating electric brushes better than manual, but sonics move sideways and no evidence to support their effectiveness.

I went or oral b and I dont like it, the soni care really is awesome compared. I don't care if it's backed up by studies or not I've had fab teeth having used it for three years. The oral b one is just substandard compared.

For years I thought electric toothbrushes were just gimmicks however every check-up my dentist would keep telling me to get one and I would just laugh but in the end I went on Amazon to read comments from people who had brought them and was surprised at all the positive comments there were so brought one.

I brought an Oral B and after the very first try my teeth felt cleaner than they ever had, within a week my teeth had turned really white and felt great.

I didn't tell my dentist I had brought one but he knew the minute he saw my teeth and he said my teeth had never looked better and in fact I've been using it for about two years now and in every six monthly check-up since he has not been able to find any plaque in my mouth (not even on the back of my teeth because I brush the backs once a week too lol)

I would never go back to a manual toothbrush again now.
