Leaking joint below bath -advice please

Hi

We have noticed a water leak in the ceiling and have located a leaking joint which is the cause. The house is quite new so the pipe work is plastic. Despite tightening the joint, the leak continues. How can we fix it please?

Thanks :

As above, the fact that you have identified the leak shows the joint that's leaking, replace or reseal as is necessary.

Without offence, given you have to ask the question maybe you need "someone in"??

If it does happen to be the waste that should simply be a reseal or washer job, as may the tap, but given "fairly new" probably a rep braided hose needed, I'm guessing you can see which.
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Even in a plastic joint you could have a washer, it may only be that, or when you've tightend it up perhaps it's cross-threaded and just needs straightening up.
