Lloyds ppi claim

Hi all, I recently submitted a claim for loan payment protection relating to two loans i had between 1988 and 1991. Both loans were through Lloyds bank, however i closed my account with them in 1991 because of other issues i had with them. I dont have the account number or any paper work relating to the loans i had witht them. I have submitted claim forms with all the other relavant information, including the address i lived at when the account and loans were still in place. Of course Lloyds are trying their best to dismiss my claim, saying that they are not able to 'find me' on their system as the laons are over six years old.
I have searched the internet and forums for any hints or tips as to what to do, but there are so many it is hard to know what to do for the best. I don't really want to give up so early on in the claim so any help would be appreciated

If you dont believe them then spend £10 and do a data subject access request.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). The comments I make are just my opinion and are for discussion purposes only. They are not financial advice and you should not treat them as such. If you feel an area discussed may be relevant to you, then please seek advice from an Independent Financial Adviser local to you.0

Unless you can prove you were mis-sold PPI, then you have no claim, sorry.0 -
They wouldn't dismiss your claim if they could find you on their system.
They are very unlikely to have documents from that far back and they are not legally obliged to keep them.
You have made the accusation so its up to you to prove what you say. Do you have any proof that you were miss sold.
Unlikely, I would presume. I would move on because its brick wall time.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
