Thank you very much FC, FloFlo and Mrs Stinkface.
The top I made by machine, took about 3 days, the hand stitching quilting took about 2wks.
Like others on here I have gammy hands, carpal tunnel and arthiritis, so I can only do a little at a time.
I bought it away with me (out of season here: bill payments, check out if house still standing etc:) and so glad I did.
I've managed to finish all but the edging that will have to be done on machine when I get home, as my hands not strong enough to go through the thickness.
LLWe are all in the gutter but some of us are looking at the stars........................0 -

I still remember her posting when Alan became ill and also following her thread on his illness. I used to sit here somedays crying feeling sorry for her and 3Dogs so sad. :A:A0 -
