Ah bless, gibber away:) my nan is petrified of thunder and lightening, when mum was younger if it was tea time and there was a storm my nan would take all the cutlery off them and put it away...she gets a severe migraine too I think these are caused by her anxiety. She has to go to bed with a wet cloth over her forehead.. She's the same now and she's 80+ bless her:)

Please elucidate :rotfl: I would love to know who was in your dream and how you saw them

When I was having Hydrotherapy there were 2 young girls who had operations on their legs and were very self conscious of the scars, physiotherapist said there was a special skin like strip they could get from the hospital to hid the scars if they wanted to wear shots or go swimming. Also Red Cross does camouflage make-up for scars, teaches how to apply it and works out best colour match.

I think she is hoping she will learn on her make up course next year how to cover it. It's one that is raised and red the other is a lot less noticeable now. Really hoping in October they are still convinced a bone graft is not needed and they need to go in again.

Good news today she passed an assessment on her block they are allowed to do 2 of the 8 like that. :j

So thank to TH last week and today she only has 6 left with 5 weeks in college, think that is looking more doable now. :D

TH is going to go back and I am, hopefully she will pass me this time. So she is getting there. :)

Sport became her social life ccj, even I had to live and breathe it with DD2 at a higher level we were either at the sports centre, fundraising, travelling to competions or staying at hotels for the weekend for the two of them. So DD3 misses out from those trips too as even if she was not competing she would come with us. And DD2 no longer competes due to the intensity of her uni course.

If I am honest I miss that bit too they were all a great bunch of people to spend time with, kids, parents and coaches. :)

I know exactly where your coming from here TS, my ds was out with injury for 6 months and it was really hard for him but also like you say hard for parents too when this is a massive part of our lives. Hope you will be able to get back into it soon xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

Great minds! I was thinking that five minutes ago - and now I'm going!! (Just that they never buy anything during the day as the people with the cash at work, so I was hesitating a little. Tonight, if it is at all, will be better.) Any good glitches? And I mean £1.99x2 vs 99p x2 on cereal bars not fail to appear by one and thus no refund on that one. Otherwise, you'll end up with me getting two packs of Bakery cookies and then finding 50px2:( vs 50px2 when I should have bought just one pack!:(:(:rotfl:
What aboUt the Quaker Oat So simple £2.28 sada or 2 for £3 v £1.14 sainsbugs.

Awwww bless her, I never thought of the cutlery thing but can understand it I suppose (I've just stopped dead doing the washing up as the sinks full of water).
I used to run around pulling out all the ariels and wall sockets but DH has convinced me that wasn't necessary as we don't have an ariel on our house so lightning can't hit it :o I'm so glad they invented laptops, tablets and dongles as they all help in a storm :)
I still have to shut all the windows, close all the curtains and turn all the lights on though :rotfl:
