 thunder storm
I've just been on google as couldn't remember the name of my phobia
A sign that someone has astraphobia is a very heightened interest in weather forecasts. An astraphobic person will be alert for news of incoming storms. They may watch the weather on television constantly during rainy bouts and may even track thunderstorms online.
That makes me sound really obcessive as I do have a thunderstorm tracking website bookmarked on my laptop
I have the school run to do in an hour and don't know how I'm going to get out the house
I know I'm going to get soaked too:rotfl::rotfl:Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -

I've just done a test shop on cereal bars 2 for £3. bought the alpen light cherry bakewell (I expect it to be mising from the APG) and one special K red berries. AvM £1.98 v 99p. Nothing to set the world alight but it will cost £1.91 for 2 packs of cereal bars.
I also bought "bapples":D
Loads of condiments reduced in my store - hellman squeezy flvoured mayo's (caramelised onion, wasabi, chilli, mustard, onoin etc). Down to £1. the wasabi one is down to 50p but showing online as £1.89.. shame it's not comparing against anyone.

Savvybuyer wrote: »Thanks for that - you know my aim is always good-intentioned - to save people :money:. (If there's no better deals, lol, I wouldn't be buying them at all at the moment! That's the idea - with me - not an original one as usual though:rotfl: - buy when on offer enough to last till the next offer, works out as :money: in the end as otherwise I would be paying higher price in total, over the month or two, when it's something I can store - it's how the muggles shop all the time. So it is a :money: approach. Then I'll stock up on the offer, only for the beggars to go on glitch the following week:(:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:.)
This is what I do also but not with chocolate or cake, not unless its free or almost freeWhen I've stocked up with these items in the past I've found that OH just eats more than he normally would and also tempts me to do the same so it's pointless for me to stock up on them
Savvybuyer wrote: »That needs to be done too of the 'Galaxy' in respect of others or, not the filling but the packaging instead. I have no  why people turn their noses up at SP! Actually I possibly have some clue... it's this indoctrinated socially-created idea that the brands are better - brand smugness. Give them a SP bar inside of a Galaxy package and they wouldn't notice the difference. I disagree that SP is 'inferior' - that plays right into the perceptions and hands that the brands want you to think. I was in the trap of buying branded chocolate for many years. I tasted the SP one recently though and found it was, to me, nicer than Cadbury's. (How dare I say "nicer than Cadbury's" - but, yes, these commonly-held and endemic beliefs that the brands are better are I think wrong and I'm pleased to hold a minority opinion - if people generally were correct, my comment "nicer than Cadbury's" would have the total lack of controversy that it ought to have. Meanwhile, I'm happy to take a controversial - and, given this chance, the deliberately provocative - view that I have. I like holding a different view, because the common view (as almost ever) is completely wrong yet again.)
In fact - not chocolate, but the ice cream I mentioned earlier, the 'value' one had a third of the amount of fat. People on the TV programme assumed that the brand one was better and were prepared to pay for it. They were shocked!:rotfl: Whereas I was there, watching, in advance, assuming the cheaper one's inevitably going to be the healthier one. And I was right!:D I mentioned this earlier. I think it's possibly something about the 'normal' brain - people go for brands, they are really bizarre, they have assumptions, prejudices and emotions. All of which are, in my view, extremely often wrong. It's the best armoury available to the businesses to get people to pay more and to run counter to money-saving.
Glad to be in the minority again!:D:):):)
I generally agree with most of what you said. I too am not normally swayed by big brands and advertising, often the cheaper brands are equally good or the difference in quality is barely anything. I think its only chocolate where I'm fussy about the taste. Cadburys has a distinctive taste which is lacking in other brands which are bland in comparison. Generally though I'm not fussy about different foods or brands0 -

I found some french's mustard, down to 60p for 340g. Result i thought, until i checked the BB dates and they ranged from March 2013 to Feb 2014. Even I take exception at that.. i told a staff member and she went off to remove them.Tiger

Aww hope dd gets some more models soon. Shame I'm not near. I can relate to the sporty child thing. They put so much energy in that social lives go on the back burner.
to the October appointment xx
Good news today she passed an assessment on her block they are allowed to do 2 of the 8 like that. :j
So thank to TH last week and today she only has 6 left with 5 weeks in college, think that is looking more doable now.
TH is going to go back and I am, hopefully she will pass me this time. So she is getting there.
Sport became her social life ccj, even I had to live and breathe it with DD2 at a higher level we were either at the sports centre, fundraising, travelling to competions or staying at hotels for the weekend for the two of them. So DD3 misses out from those trips too as even if she was not competing she would come with us. And DD2 no longer competes due to the intensity of her uni course.
If I am honest I miss that bit too they were all a great bunch of people to spend time with, kids, parents and coaches.0
