Thanks, I'd actually forgotten I was supposed to go and buy cake :o They don't sell the cake I'd planned to buy in my local Sada so I would have had to travel further but I forgot :D It wasn't a disaster though as I found this reduced to £5 in my usual Sada. It should have been £10 but the assistant told me there was some sort of error (I think they ordered too many) so lots of party cake reduced :T

I spotted this too. A cake shaped like a burger for a fiver

    Evening all

Just in from work and thought I'd pop and say hello as I've been neglecting the thread again :o

Saw my Cons yesterday. My bloods remain borderline and I've been referred for more tests to see why I'm struggling more to swallow. Most likely a bit of a stricture in my oesophagus as a result of radiotherapy but he wants to check how severe and that nothing else pressing from elsewhere. Hey ho

Thanks tweets and MMW for info about solar panels. When I looked into it a bit more I cancelled the appt DH had made to discuss it further. It was a 'rent a roof' type contract. The company would get the FIT and we'd have to take out a 20 year contract  Think it would have been of limited benefit to us to save on energy bills and would impact hugely if we wanted to sell in the future.

Off for a little catch up :)

    Evening all,

Could anyone help me with the m and s deals and gr vouchers? I have 4 gr vouchers and I also have an 8.00 m and s credit note that needs using up. Please could someone explain what to do/buy? I am an m and s newbie!

    Hi
You can only use one GR voucher per shop.

It's meal deal weekend coming up so you need to have a check around the store and see what you want to buy. The meal deal before discounts might come to £18/£19 pounds depending on what you buy. You need to get to £25 before discounts to use your GR voucher.
Go to SS till and put your shopping through as normal but do not press finish. Put your GR voucher through and Then your credit voucher.

With a bit of luck a meal deal and a pasta multi for £6 ie a total spend of £16 should come down to £3 after you have used your vouchers.

Why don't you wait and see what deals are posted up here before you try it yourself:)

The OP is a bit dim, it's 4 for the price of 3, not buy 1 get 3 free :D
