Go away for a couple of days and there is a new thread! Thank you.
Silly to be upset, but I bought something on eBay which was advertised as 150 cm wide and was only 130 cm. Postage was more than cost of item so messaged the seller to ask for refund. They told me to return it. I said I would but they'd have to refund me and also pay postage cost of refund. Thinking to save them cost of return postage, I said if they preferred, I would take the item to a charity shop. Seller says description was not wrong since they quoted approx size and 'a few centimetres is minute'! I have been told my message is threatening and intimidating and have been called a scammer and an awful person. I have managed to be polite throughout, have raised an 'item not as described' in the resolution centre and have posted photos of the item with the discrepancy clearly marked. But it's disproportionately upsetting!0 -
Urgh
F1 finished (great race in the end, could have been a few laps longer)
Now DH grabs the remote and the channel hopping commences (apparently some scouse team is on telly :rotfl: )
What time do the shops shut today ? :rotfl:Historic Debt August 2009 = £63,600 10th March 2017 = £0 100% paid all gone!
Mortgage started June 2015 = £170,000 January 2022 = £134,000
Saving for Xmas 2022= . . Amazon £55

You're right! What a bummer.

It looks as if I'll get what I paid back but won't get paid for returning the item.
I'd understand 2 cm too...
It will be interesting to see what eBay decides. I've never had this sort of problem before.0
