Good morning fc when I read your post re the wellie room I thought oh:cool: that you were a posh Lady ;)as Gentry have wellie rooms.

We put a phone sytem in a house that really did have a welly room, probably the size of our lounge. To give you some idea of the size the phone system had 28 extensions, and we never did find out how many bedrooms it had :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Good morning, well we had 4 solid hours of thunder and lightening last night I've never seen anything like it before, started about 8pm and finally ended at midnight, we couldn't believe how much rain there was too.
Woke up to a beautiful morning today though so good luck to everyone with the weather today and fingers crossed it clears the air and brings blue skies to us all x

Glitches/offers that are of some use to me not just because they are cheap ;)

That way its a lot easier to get what you actually want/need rather than rushing out just because someone has posted bikini wax is going through for 10p if you wear a kilt and find a sa called Bob with a beard and a nose ring with a tatoo of an anchor on his left butt cheek ;)

Chase everything you will end up with a headache, disappointed ,a grumpy other half and a house full of stuff you have no use for;)

Chill read the deals and think do I want/need/have I ever thought of buying that or am I putting my shoes on just because its cheap
    :rotfl:

Good job I read that to see if it made any sense at all or it would have been bikini waz for 10p

Wise words (most of it!). I agree up to a point - I am less inclined to chase after 1p finds now as I went silly chasing after them and pretty much lost a night :o (post 4am return!) which was a wake up call.

This time I have stocked up on cereal and Dolmio as this is saving money in the long run on items we normally buy a lot of, plenty of shampoo, shower gel, hand wash, Washing up liquid and washing liquid as we will get through it (in time ... ;)) . Switched mainly to fillers that we would buy anyway (Sweetcorn, tuna, soup, banana etc) rather than sweet fillers (unless I am in a rush) as it is easy to lose track of how much you are spending (and I still don't like getting fillers just as fillers - even though we have enough Flumps etc that I use for safety to ensure I don't get too few items). You know when there has been a good glitch not only by the size of the stash but also how full the other cupboards are with fillers.

If I am going I tend to buy 4 shops at a time (one trolley) to save time, but also don't forget the cost of petrol to factor in! If it works out free I may get more :).

And every so often I pull back if it is taking up too much of my time (or if Mrs Anon says we have "enough" ... though that is no longer guaranteed to stop me!).

    HTH
