hi all, ta for the new thread.
not related to food shopping but going to post it here anyway
in home base they have 3 dulux endurance paints 2.5lts on at 1/2 price
colours: Ivory, soft stone & mild ? primrose, priced at £13.43.
reserved 3 to collect and they were also on a 3 for 2 so 3 tins of washable dulux matt in neutral colours cost me £26.?
was v happy as needed paint for ds room.
u could also get this a bit cheaper by going to b&q and getting price match +10% (they also have bogohp so this would kick in if they price match making it even cheaper)
not posting this on hduk or on the quick thread as stock is limited but thought it may help some1 on here, but if some1 wants to post elsewhere don't mind.
Looks light your going to do some decorating durham. Brewers have coupons for £10 off £30 till end of may and £20 off £40 for June. Great price for acrylic paint that doesn't go yellow - even better price than tool station with coupon. HTH

Can anyone tell me please where Malta came last night in the Eurovision song contest?
I watched it till UK singer, then they cut the picture & sound.
Told this morning that Bulgarians are not happy with the press they've been getting in UK (lumped in with their neighbours Romanians, they dislike them very much), so wouldn't show UK song!!!!!!!
Went to bed instead. Have googled but can't find results other than Austria winning?

Yes is the worst bit:eek: has she recovered ok?

Yes she's doing well thanks. :)

She's been back to work a few weeks now.
Thinking about it, it was probably less than 8 weeks ago that she had it done. Just feels longer as I had to put up with her at home all day long for 3 weeks. :rotfl::rotfl:
She still hasn't got the strength back but it's getting there.
Certainly didn't stop her going out clubbing.

My boxers are Primarni. I've had them about 12 years. The elastic went in them 2 years ago. Some pairs are covered in paint as I did some decorating in my boxers. Most pairs are full of holes. I'm just too tight to buy new ones.

I need suggestions for books to read and tv series to watch, its getting desperate - some of the stuff I'm reduced to reading and watching, well, it ain't good!
There are 3 fantastic true life books that everyone should read:

Devils Knot - Mara Leveritt, it's about the West Memphis 3. A group of 3 teens (the oldest 16) wrongfully charged with 3 murders, 2 ended up on Death Row, Damien Echolls was due to go on the chair but was saved with a couple days to spare. Really in depth look at the lack of evidence against them & multiple evidence around other people. Can't go into too much details but here's a link http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Memphis_Three

Then there is Damien Echolls autobiography Almost Home - it details his fight through his life. AMAZING

A controversial pick maybe but Saddam Hussein's The Secret Life - is another amazing book, just don't do what I did & stupidly take it to read on a plane
If only batman was here, he'd soon get you told
