Hope this is not out of place for a mainly lurker (do try to post but usually far far behind)....
Fairclaire - from the perspective of someone whose Mum suffers from severe depression, your children will remember the days out with both you and your OHas positive memories, they will also have good memories of other things even during the extremely bad times as there will be good moments with their Dad. And many moments throughout everything that both you and they will treasure. I have the utmost respect for my Dad in how he has managed over the last 10 years - as I'm sure your children do for you. It sounds like you are doing an amazing job and I hope things improve really really soon.
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunny weather!
Thank you very much for sharing this, it helps more than you know. Thank you also Enterprise for your very touching words. And also to the other too many to mention people who have gave hugs.
You lot are AMAZING
Well despite everything Ive managed to have a reasonable day. I have a new toy
A routerI bought it for my OH a few weeks back. I thought it might keep him amused but it hadn't been out the box, so I decided to get it out. Oh my.....it's absolutely fab! I'm trying to make a box (for practise) that has nothing holding it together. No screws, no nails, no glue. Just perfectly executed joints
Then when I get the hang of it. I'm going to make a table.
We have decided he needs at least a few nights in hospital, so he'll probably be going there at nights until the end of the week. Half term next week so that makes life much easier.
Hope everyone has had a good day0 -

A router
I mastered the routerI made a lovely wooden box and signs i.e. the house name and labels for my veg patch
Doing letters helps build confidence in controlling the router.
Enjoy :cool:Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.
