As no mbuy on msm, I would have thought they would compare at whatever the individual prices are on your receipt. Sounds reasonable to me as wouldn't be 2 for £3.50 if instore individual price was lower than £1.75. I had someone do the reverse instore on one of my wombles earlier:( - they got a Cumberland Pie at £2.00 - when I checked an hour ago, msm.co.uk had £3.50 vs £3.09 for M (msm now says A £2.00 on the detailed product page but I note it's still got £3.50 on the 'overview' so it's in the transition stage). My shopper bought it at £2 on their receipt, and it compared £2 vs £3.09 at Morries:eek: on the APG.If only batman was here, he'd soon get you told0 -

So - if there's no mbuy on msm and you can pay less individual price, when taking into account the mbuy saving, than is showing on msm then buy the mbuy if the individual instore price, not taking into account the mbuy, is more than the individual price on msm. (Assuming it is worth it even with the higher APG; sometimes even with more APG it will still work out too expensive for me.)
If there is an mbuy on msm that is more than the individual prices, then also buy the mbuy number (eg £1x 2) - even if (probably especially if) there is no mbuy instore - as it will then compare from the mbuy (eg 2 for £3).
Great, thanks - that's very clear:D:rotfl::rotfl:.0 -
As I can see now I'm all caught up.
Phew. That was epic. It was actually more like 50 pages.
I'm very sorry to hear your news snap. Very sorry indeed. Lots of love to you. I hope there are plenty of glitches and other things to keep your mind occupied xxx
I have not read back, so well done EmmaP

I drank Pernod as a teenager.....with blackcurrant. I went home and threw up in one of those wicker bins that were fashionable in the 80s and got a slapped head for my troubles.......and a never ending reminder about the said holes in the wicker bin and how blackcurrant stains carpets:rotfl::rotfl:

My mum used to get the ones with a plastic lining built in!
Does anyone have a bin in their living room any more? Obviously my mum does... she is now a little posher and has a metal bin, covered in material... but still walks into the kitchen and uses this bin so she can keep the living room one clean!
