on this example of a shop, I would quite happily go way over the £10 limit we use. as its a genuine price difference I would get 6 bottles if I wanted them. I know that's a huge apg but its genuine. I would not get 10 though as it would put me near the cap if im being monitored.
    ps don't like the stuff:rotfl:

Thats quite a while...I must admit we were referred quite quickly but then it was decided once we were under the orthodontists care that they would wait a year to see how the teeth settled down....so we waited at that point.

We had lots of complex issues not only with wayward teeth but also the alignments of the jaw which was causing breathing problems and in particular sleep aponea...

It ended up being treatment for about 18 months but only 12 or so wth the brace after that it went to nightly clear retainers...

We now get a good nights sleep and he's got straight teeth too...so whilst it was a bit of a faff at times it did install the practice of good brushing of teeth etc and now hes really pleased he stuck with it!

Looks like I am going to have to go the private route after DD3 having NHS treatment, once it got to wearing the retainer, I would find it on the floor in the middle of the night.

Now at 17 she wishes she had kept wearing it as one of the teeth has gone crooked again and now she is self conscious of it.

It's been far too long since she last wore her retainer for it to fit again. I did say she would regret not keeping it up but I was ground down by her and OH telling me she was old enough to make up her own mind at 15. :(

Her treatment was around 18 months. I knew from experience of 4 years treatment for mine that it is worth sticking with it. I had a tiny mouth with too many teeth, which earnt me few nicknames. :o But since I was 16 I have been able to smile at the world with no worries at all. :D

:o:o:o I still have nightmares of mine being in my mouth & pulling my teeth :o

Mine had 2 gaps on the sides & when you ate, the mushed up food would lodge between the brace & the roof of my mouth :p:p:p:p

My DN is undergoing a course of treatment/operations to extend her lower jaw.
At the moment she has had teeth removed & has a mouth full of metal. Unfortunately some bits cut her tongue badly & we are trying to think of what could be put on the sharp bits to stop this?

All my 3 girls were supplied by the orthodontist with wax to put on the sharp bits?
