That's really good to know. Thank you. I always thought you couldn't do this because they became diseased. I had some lovely new potatoes growing in my compost bin once and now I've just noticed the end of a leek sprouting!
By the way, if you pop an apple in with potatoes (I do this in the fridge so don't know if it works in a bag) it stops them sprouting.0 -

Hi boys/girls/everyone else,
Hope everyone is well.
Just logged in so don't have time to look through about 30 pages but Quidco are offering £1 again if you buy Seabrook Straight Cut 6 pack. I can't seem to find any on MSM but they were £1 last week at Morrisons, so again, free crisps if the price is £1. Would be totes lovely if someone could clarify for me and for others.
Also, see the link below for an awesome deal on Clarins at Boots: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/65517234#Comment_65517234
Gosh, I'm going to sound like a right saddo quoting my own post, but Seabrook Straight Cut 6 packs are still £1 at Morrisons, so effectively free if you Quidco cashback them. Woohoo!
Also, could someone give me a bit of a hand? I mentioned this offer yesterday.
I went to Boots today and saw the following offer on Clarins.
Buy any 2 items as long as 1 is skincare and get 1000 advantage card points (effectively £10 back).
Buy any 2 items as long as 1 is skincare and get a beauty beach bag (a large pink thing) and 3 super sized samples.
So if you buy 2 items, both of the above offers work as long as 1 is skincare. Perfect time for stocking up if you use Clarins.
I went to Boots today and tried to buy 2 skincare items and get the points and the gift with purchase but I was told I couldn't. SA said I had to buy 4 items to get 1 set of points and 1 gift with purchase. I told SA to read SA banner behind SA which clearly stated buy 2 items, 1 to be skincare and get the points and gift, but SA didn't budge. Nowhere on the promotional material did it say EITHER points OR gift so I have no idea why I was being fobbed off. I know it sounds totally OTT but could I go to trading standards? Surely, they can't advertise offers and then not allow them. There was a lot of negative publicity last year when Boots/Clarins staff fobbed off loads of customers with the same bullish.
I will happily buy items from Debenhams in the future, but I am majorly pee'd off as the man/woman (couldn't tell if SA was a he or a she) SA was making very snide comments with their colleague and laughing like a hyena at me making out I couldn't understand English!:mad::mad::mad::mad:0 -

I've been meaning to say thank you for you kind words the other day when I was upset about lil stink at nursery. I know it's a little phase he's going through. Wish it would hurry up and pass though, it's more painful dropping him off now than what it was when he 1st started in September.
Funny how their little brains work isn't it?
No probs hun, fingers crossed you find some bargains soon x
Reminds me of my son. First couple of weeks in school were fine, come the Monday he decided he had finished school, didn't want to go anymore as he had learned everything! Dragged him there literally kicking and screaming and handed him to his teacher, she was very goodWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
I've suddenly been able to convert TopCashBack into Tesco clubcard points even though the last payment was last August (when I hit their maximum). I now can't find anything which tells me there is a limit on how many cc points I can get per year. Have they removed the limits does anyone know please?0
