A lot of the fun in this thread is posts being dissected, but then I imagine you don't mean AAUs big red X, CoTs misinformer smileys and the like do you :p

I lurk for glitches, post shops from time to time, and enjoy the banter. It's nice to see names returning to the thread from when I first started lurking and posting during the big glitch. It's equally nice to see regular posters and the community spirit this thread engenders. It's not nice to see what is essentially a p!ssing contest at a child like level.

Quick, back to hiding (don't want to be getting too many more stars!)

Oh please do stay and cheer up the atmosphere :D

  • My mum got my DD one of those Loom Bracelet sets, we had her at the weekend & she was making a lot & I asked her why she was making so many? She said it was for her classmates, I felt so proud of her sharing with her pals, her mum just sent me a photo of about £11 in change & told me she was actually selling them to her classmates! The set only cost £3, hows that for MSE £3 to £11 within a day?

:rotfl: Mexican buses are also once in a life time... never again experience. Shapes in the sides of the bus where the windows should be:eek: but no actual glass.. Great built in air con but not so good during a monsoon:rotfl:

    Ah those were the days:)

ooh, i've been in a taxi in Bangkok - that was scary :(. And OH was in Calcutta (now Kolkata) 6 months ago and feared for his life

Tried a taxi ride in Bangkok, I was holding on so tight I thought I would never be able to let go. Also tried a taxi ride in Cairo, I would rather be in the Bangkok one:eek::eek: I don't think they believe in road signs or traffic lights:eek:

Has anybody actually watched how the police deal with accidents in Cairo? They bring out the cable ties and put the cars back together :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Someone mentioned Sunshinemummy and Thick Tom earlier. Two regular posters who seem to have gone 'missing in action'. I really do hope you are both well and that you will come back soon. Sunshinemummy, you used to post more than anyone and you were always so cheery and kind to everyone. Tom, you used to make me laugh out loud with your humourous posts. Please come back soon both of you and make the thread a better place.

This is the same as the HMRC emails. The best way I find is to check the senders email address & do it very carefully, take note of spelling mistakes such as @HRMC & @PAYPALL, report them & then send a message back to them saying whatever you want my favourite is far too abusive to post here but on most occasions you never hear from them again, minus one occasion when they messaged me back to say there was no need to be so aggressive :rotfl: what you gonna do call the police?

    :T

    Love it.

She's got some of the bands left here, half tempted to make some bracelets & sell them down the pub. I was thinking of loitering round the school playgrounds but I'm pretty sure a strange man in a playground selling things to kids would get me lifted
