    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2626136/Revealed-How-supermarket-price-war-means-actually-pay-MORE-thousands-products-despite-adverts-claiming-falling-prices.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490

Just looking for the APG site and instead led off to something else that 'might be adverse to some of the supermarkets':rotfl:.

The only reason Sainsbobs has cut that many is because they were a way expensive store on a lot more items beforehand IMO. And, IMO, still are on quite a few things.

As for price wars increasing prices, unfortunately the meal deal items that are now more expensive than the previous mbuy, because of, on several of them, the 20p cut on the original individual price that is now being trumpeted as "cheaper".

Now I can find 3v cards, I'm wanting to use them. I want to buy something on eBay for £28. If I pop a card on there and try to use it, what will happen please?

Not sure if this was answered as skimming through?

As you would be paying through Paypal I "think" your transaction is limited to £24 as it does a £1 test/security payment against the card to check it is genuine before the main transaction. You could merge two cards on 3V but you get charged (IIRC £1.75 for a £25 card) which negates getting them in the first place. Small balances could be cleared by sending yourself an Amazon giftcard/voucher for the remaining amount.
