Thats the one. A squash ball is ideal. :)

    Morning all.

Hope everyone had a good weekend.

Time for work already and the weather seems a bit carp too. Awful weather for May isn't it? My Mom keeps saying it once snowed in May many years ago, hope that does not happen this year!

    Have a great day all.

Where I used to live we had snow in June or July (can't remember which it was now) once, I think it was 1972, enough to sledge in! This wasn't in the north, it was in East Sussex but 800 feet above sea level. I will never forget sledging across the golf course in what was meant to be the summer

    Good morning everyone.

Hope everyone had a lovely weekend.

Well sorted my Harveys delivery out, they are redelivering after the fiasco, and have knocked another £150.00 off for the inconvenience we have had :j:j:j

Morning all, another very wet one.

Wow tweets, have just seen how many thanks you got on your thread opener (132) - just shows how popular you are :T :T :T

Bubbs, glad you are recovering okay from your op.

Many years ago I had problem with my hand/wrist which resulted in 4 months off work. It still bothers me from time to time but I really struggled opening tins, chopping carrots, etc. I am not a big gadget person, but I bought an electric can opener and it really helped. Unfortunately I have yet to find one that lasts. I have gone through loads of them, expensive ones to el-cheapo tosco ones, they seem to die shortly after the warranty has expired.

Has anyone got any brand recommendations or has had one that has lasted a few years that is still okay please? Thanks.

I need to know this aswell, we get through so many can openers its unbelievable.
