Peugeot 206 - Wont start and loud beep??
Hello all,
Firstly i know pretty much nothing about mechanics so bear with me on this!
So went to start my car this morning and it wasnt having any of it. At first thought its just a flat battery called the breakdown man out and he said its not the battery, sparks are ok but seemed to think no fuel was getting to the engine.
Ive had the car back 1 day from the garage who just put it through its MOT, They changed front suspension arms on both sides will this of had anything to do with it? I assume not but just wondered whether parts could have had to be removed to get them in and not put back correctly?
When i turn the key it chuggs and chuggs for about 5-10 seconds then sounds one loud beep then nothing
I can turn the lights on and radio so it has power
Last thing i can think of is I changed the key case yesterday, just the plastic bit around the chip and blade of the key - again no idea as to whether this would have an impact
Any information on this would be brilliant thanks

Is it a switchblade type key with remote locking buttons on it?
I'm guessing the transponder chip is still in the old case.0 -
Just swapped it back round and bingo!
Thank you so much! Saved me a few quid and the shame of being told that by a garage!!0 -
Have a look in the old case for the chip you should be able to swap it to the new case, this is what they look like:
And this gives you an idea of the size:0
