climbing cues.
Another year growing Crystal Apple, Made the mistake of growing one in the green house, did very well, but have been told it can be grown outside, leaving more room for the toms.
Do people 'train' to grow up, or leave to crawl over the floor?
Cues are growing well, biggest just re-potted into large earthenware pots.

Cucumbers can do well outside -as long as they are a suitable variety. I usually go with Marketmore (which I only sowed last weekend).
I grow them on a small wigwam or frame of canes. Keep them well watered and feed as you do tomatoes.
They do hate any cold weather though so don't plant out until all risk of cold (not just frosty) nights has gone.0 -
I sucessfully grew lemon apple cucs outdoors last year. I let them trail all over the patio, and watched out for slugs.0
