If you're in the market for a 7" tablet then Asus have a promotion on at the moment that gives you £50 of Google Play Store credit if you buy a Nexus 7.

Amazon are currently selling the 16GB model for £165, so with £50 off it works out cheaper than a Hudl as long as you would be spending money at Play Store anyway.

I wouldn't know, having sent both the first one I bought and the replacement back as they were faulty, which is why I've now ordered a Nexus.

I had 2 Nexus 7's. One replaced after 5 months because it wouldn't charge, the replacement's screen cracked for no good reason after 3 months.

Hudl isn't amazing, but it still works. Found Nexus 7 very poor build quality, although performance edge over Hudl.

Seriously though, that link is throwing up a security warning. Even when I Google asus promotions :-\

Were your Nexus 7s 2012 or 2013 models? Everything I've read says that the 2013 is one of the best tablets out there, and is considerably higher quality than the Hudl.

The AV you have on your Hudl must be throwing up a false positive as it's a genuine ASUS webpage. I received the link in an email from Tesco Direct.
