I just picked up a recent sale brochure and saw what I was looking for - a dining set of 4 stools and a table for £49.99 (cat no. 600/5274). I went to the website to order it but on the website it's described as having only 2 stools. The picture in the brochure also shows just 2 stools so I guess there's been an error in the brochure. Does anyone know Argos' policy on this kind of thing? If I argued for 4 stools would I get them????
If I do get this does anybody want a free table???? - I only want the stools.

OK I am a law student and I know a little about this. Basically an advert is not legally binding and they do not have to sell for the price/description in the advert.
I dont think Argos will give you 4 stalls and I suspect as they usually do when they make a mistake, may have a notice up instore to highlight the fact u only get 2 not 4 stalls. If I say something you like....Please hit the thanks button :beer:0 -

I would have hoped that a " law student " could tell the difference between a " stall " and a stool....oh dear.

Nope, simple errors could cost you an awful lot.
Also, to not 2. Get over the childish ways of spelling if you want any professional success......0 -

It may be helpful if you stop telling the world you are a " law student " if that is the best you can do, it would give us lesser mortals more confidence in the legal profession.
So much for education, education, education.
Oh and it may help your career if you find the shift key on your keyboard.0 -

Goodness me, why has anybody picked this person up on a simple spell mistake
As they have said, they were only trying to help0 -
            Indeed.
I wouldn't have asked the question if I thought it was going to start a mini war!! Thanks for the advice - I'll give it a go anyway - who knows they might just honour it and then I'll have four stalls!!!0 -
