Title says it all but my throat is killing me - is there any instant relief?
I am sure I could dig out some crusty old honey from the back of the cupboard.. and I've got Salt.. and Vingegar... but I'm in agony now and not sure whether it would be OK to take Nurofen with Wine? (Not really a question that though)

In the nicest possible way, I'd suggest getting off the computer. A flickering screen is not going to help a migraine.0

Nope, the Wine hasn't shifted it so I asked hubs if it would be OK to take 2 Nurofen Migraine tablets and he said fine - I had the sense to knock them back with Water though
(the way he feels about me at the moment, I wouldn't put it past him to recommend 40 Nurofen tablets with a bottle of Wine :rotfl: )0 -
You can gargle with salt water, but you need to spit it out afterwards. It's vile, but it helps. You can also gargle with soluble aspirin, and swallow it. Equally vile, but again, it helps.
If it's still bad in the morning, get some more honey. and some Throat Comfort tea bags from a health food shop! You might find they taste vile but they work, too!Signature removed for peace of mind0
