Hi all seeking some help if possible.No2 daughter just returned from a trip to china and whilst there bought herself a Samsung galaxy grand GT19082I which apparently are not in the uk yet.
Anyway everything seemed to work perfectly on it here, when she was in 2 of her sisters homes the phone connected immediately to their wifi (both bt),however when she came to my home she tried to connect it to my wifi (bt) using the proper code for the hub and although it showed several other wifi were available and connected to her mobile (belonging to neighbours) my bt4 hub came up on her screen said it was searching for iP address then said "network disabled poor connection".
The signal strength on her phone for my hub is 100%,she tried turning the phone off and back on but to no avail. So we are puzzled,if she could not connect to any wifi I would understand and blame the phone but it picked up her sisters and neighbours wifi no problem and yet even using the proper pass number for my hub it still wont allow her on.
Any help would be very welcome, thanks. P.S. my own hub is working 100%.

Just a stab in the dark, but if the phone was made in China but not intended for sale over here, I wonder if your hub may be operating on a channel number that the phone is not capable of resolving properly, hence the 'poor connection' message?
If you know how to access your hub's management screen (I think the URL for BT Home hubs is usually http://192.168.1.254 ) you can check and change your channel number and then try the phone again.... As a last resort backup data and try a factory reset .
Alternative would be to try the Chinese or Indian forums .
As i understand this phone is not coming to the UK and as its not under UK warranty a mobile phone repair shop may help .0
