I have two courgette plants and one marrow on my allotment and almost everyday now I get at least one to harvest usually give them away. I have grown them for several years last year been the exception as 2012 was a wet Summer and lost all harvest due to wet Summer so decided not to do them in 2013 when we had a nice Summer then. Well this year they gone mad from a few inches length one day to 8-10 inches following day. I feed them well though with Phostgen and sometimes Comfrey diluted in water making sure Comfrey rots down it stinks

I make sure all veg from Courgettes and marrrow are slightly off ground so less likely to rot. I do loose odd small courgette think mice get at it
