Hi all,
My question is what does "buying with a credit card and your covered" mean?
i remember on watch dog something like if you buy a £899 TV but pay £1 with your card and £898 cash, if anything goes wrong you can claim it back?
i have 2 credit cards, one frozen whilst i can pay it off and another im fighting with, so once they are paid off i want them gone or really for "emergencys" but it would be good to know, Thanks

"Anything" is totally wrong.
The credit card company are jointly liable with the retailer, so if the retailer went bust and your TV blew up shortly after you bought it you'd be covered.
Basically the credit card company would cover you for anything that the retailer should.
This is the law and no credit company can deny you these rights.
But anything that YOU are liable for - wear & tear, accidents etc. are not covered (unless your credit card offers a special insurance benefit).
It's well worth being aware of and using but to think it covers you for "anything" is completely incorrect.0 -
