help student loans say theyve ovetpaid me £4700

Hi I'm looking for any help as I'm in pieces worried sick, I'll try abd put all the info in without it taking too long
In year 11/12 I started a fda first year when fine
3nd year I got pregnant and attended up until March 13 but had to suspend due to complications that had me in icu for 3 weeks.
Returned Sept 13/14 but with drew Feb as I'm still suffering with postnatal depression.
I only got finance for year 12/13 up until January and in 13/14 got my September payment. They paid me £2600 in January 14 but I called up and paid it back once I saw it had hit my account as I new I couldn't carry on.
I have been told to day I owe them £4700 as I have been reassessed and only entitled to £100 Grant for both 12/13 abd 13/14!
Surely the assessment should be the same and I be entitled to what they gave me as I completed the terms the money was for. Also the money I paid back in Jan this year went towards 12/13 not 13/14 even though I didn't know I owed from last year.

I work part time I can't afford to pay this back it's making me physically sick. Will they accept a payment plan?
Can their reassessment be inncorect?

    Firstly don't panic!

They will definitely accept an offer of a payment plan. You shouldn't put it off, get in touch with them right away and set up an arrangement. They should accept as little as £5 a month and you won't have any further hassle from them while you continue to pay this.

After that there is the issue of making sure they're asking for the right amount. I would ask them for a letter setting out your entitlement, what you were paid and hence what you have been overpaid across the 2 years. Come back here once you have this information if you're struggling to check it's correct.

However, I wouldn't let that delay me setting up the payment plan as you seem to accept that you must owe them some money.
