barclaycard advised sale of ppi over the phone

hi - i am about to (finally) fill in my ppi form to reclaim ppi from barclaycard and could do with some advice. In the SAR i received from barclaycard was a transcript of the telephone sale by which i was sold the pip. Questions were asked of me such as: Are you employed full time? yes, does your employer provide sick pay? yes, do you have other means to pay debt should you have to stop working? yes, do you have insurance if you had to stop working to pay debt?No…..
Basically - at the time i was on a fixed term contract (this was not explained over the phone) which would have made me exempt from being able to claim on ppi anyway and if i had fallen sick whilst working i had very generous work benefits (which they knew).
At the top of the sales transcript it says: advised sale - does this mean i have a stronger case and do you think i have good reasons for mis-selling? Has anyone been able to claim back on ppi sold over the phone??
Many thanks

Depends on whether you answered truthfully about the employment. i.e. if you applied for the card and said you were employed full time then they would use that information in addition to the other questions. However, if you declared it as contract work then they are likely to be stuffed.
yes but people have been rejected as well. The key is really in the details and the reasons.Has anyone been able to claim back on ppi sold over the phone??I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). many thanks for your reply. oops - Ive obviously been a bit dull on this one - i thought employed full time meant 37 hours or whatever full time is for that institution/ company? I thought contract type i.e - fixed term was a different issue? i have had the card since 1998 and the ppi was sold to me in 2006
many thanks0
