Hill dickinson after prankster again!

In the light of the alleged threats to MSE by the as yet unconfirmed parking company, it was seen the right moment by Parking Prankster to reveal that he has received a second attempt to curtail his blogs and work done to assist court claims and defendants.

The detail and the care with which the Prankster responds to this letter from Hill Dickinson is praiseworthy.

    Well done.

Agreed. Like any legal company they need the fees. £500 plus for the letter HD wrote. They don't care if what was written was factually correct, it keeps the fee earnings up.
  • I can't comment on the defamatory bit, it's something I know little about, but it could be my next interest. Is it a civil tort ?

The other bit's are laughable. Do Hill Dickinson have a different set of BPA guidance than I have ? I looked at every single sign in our Fistral Case, most were uncompliant, some were actually dangerous. Pranky's letter from HD didn't seem to reveal the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

Will look forward to examining the letter in detail.I'd be quite happy to sign any witness statements supporting our experience, they'll be true, factual, and signed by the real person.

Bottom line.....I'm not sure Pranky has said anything that isn't true.

Personally, I can see why parking employed staff are getting a bit p+ssed off by derogatory terms. They are, after all, human. The way they operate, in my opinion, are immoral.I don't think that's defamatory I'd be happy to support that argument. They sent us a load of stuff that just was untrue. Some of it was defamatory. Happy to share that with anyone.

People, are after all, people, I wouldn't like to be called a "thief." And, to be honest, the law seems to be prevailing on the side of truth anyhow.

If anyone is having a problem with Parking Eye, I'd be happy to share our experience. They hounded us through the courts, despite our repeated willingness to settle at mediation.

They seem to be clutching at straws.

Apparently PE are 'recognised as a market leader for customer care'!!!! (says who?). You couldn't make it up - they don't even have 'customers' only clients and victims!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Wonder what Northumberland Health care trust would have to say in that regard :rotfl:

I tip my hat to the honourable Prankster, at least he has the guts to stand up to the bullies for the benefit of the general public.

I'm obviously the only one who only gets the first two pages of the letter loaded ?

Try this. Open your anti spam software

Main menu > Options > Settings

    Uncheck the following:

    Block hot air
    Block legal guff
    Remove legal posturing and grandstanding
    Tripe filter

    The page should now load

All the more reason to endorse what prankster does in the fight against this company (being the market leader - lol) , and others who are simply the small fry ;) . We all must be hurting them badly, exposing their business model and the way they operate is surely in the public interest.

My personal opinion is that I want this company liquidated together with their ilk, the only way to achieve this is stop them getting access to our personal details from the dvla, the fight therefore should be squarely laid at the doors who allow this, and that is at the MPs! Nick Smith MP for Blaenau Gwent is one person who understands this.

To Parking Eye who are obviously reading this, I wish you a happy liquidation, and I hope we are a massive part of that :)

A quick upgrade to Firefox solved it. I guess it removed the bull filter ;)
