As a similarly aged ex cornwall (now Devon!) girl. I feel your struggle! Have a look at Cornwall college to see if there are any classes that take your fancy, I met two of my closest friends doing an accountancy course at the Camborne campus. Good luck with it, I know how you feel after moving (on my own) to a new county last year! Make sure some of your friends come to visit you too, certainly helps me feel less alone (and more able to explore my new city!) when I'm acting as tour guide! xHouse Fund: £2,800/£20,000 - 14%

Hi, I'm Jon and I run the Meetup Group in Falmouth. We've got about 90 members so far. A year ago I was in exactly the same boat, moved here with my girlfriend, had no friends! So we started the group and we've met some really great people.
I'm not sure I can put a link on here, but if you Google "New Kids on the Block Falmouth" (bad name I know) you'll get it.
It's totally free to join and we organise events every few weeks, plus you can suggest your own events if nothing takes your fancy.
Hopefully see you at a meetup sometime soon!0 -
Well, a lot has changed in these 4 months ( wow, it's gone quickly) , I got a job, made some friends through work and am feeling much much happier and very settled in my new home :-)
Thanks though, I'll check out that page0 -
