Residential Parking

Hello,
I am unsure if this is the correct place to post this but was unsure where else may be suitable.
I have recently moved into a new build home.
It comes with a separate parking space just outside of the house.
I was wondering I anyone knew if there was a certain size that the bays must be. Or where I may be able to find out information like this.
Any help would be appreciated.

They also assume that you can turn on a dime to get into/out of the space, and that you dont actually need to get out of the car when parked...0
