Tree Removal Quotes

HI all ! We've had 4 quotes for removing 5 leylandii + 1 overgrown butterfly bush. We are in east Cambridgeshire.

Quote 1: £275 - removal, cross-hatch of stumps and root killer down

Quote 2: £400 - removal, root killer put down

Quote 3: £380 +VAT - removal, stumps ground down

Quote 4: £700 + VAT - removal, stumps ground down

We have also had 1 quote for the removal of 1 small hemlock and topping + trimming of 2 trees at side of house. Trees are on neighbour's side of fence; they have offered to pay for part of this.

Are these reasonable?? What would be the best way to go?? Get eht stumps ground down or the root killer? The trees have a lot of small trunks/branches etc and are about 18-20 Ft tall.

Thanks!
