TSB how can this be?!!

I opened an account online as we have moved home three times I thought I would need to go back 5 years it was accepted on 7months,when I tried to register online I was asked to ring the help line,I had spelt my name wrong,but was advised to register online using incorrect name then go into a branch to change it,this morning I received a debit card,so now I have a bank account debit card not in my name,I thought this money laundering legislation would have rejected this application :eek:
please do not pick on me for my grammar,I left school at fifteen and worked in the building trade for 55years ,
